Dr. Shane Garrison
Interim Pastor
Shane joined the Pleasant Grove team as interim pastor in 2024. He and his family live in Campbellsville, KY, where he serves as Professor of Educational Ministries in the Campbellsville University School of Theology. He has taught at CU for 16 years. Shane is married to Jennifer and they have two sons, Isaac and Ethan. The Garrisons are a big national park family having traveled to 53 parks so far.
David Rodgers has called Owensboro Kentucky his home since 1990. After graduating from Daviess County High School in 2004, David continued his education by obtaining his Bachelors of Music from Campbellsville University and his Master's in Discipleship Ministries from Liberty Seminary.
David has continually strived to honor God with his life and the calling that he has received. David joined the Pleasant Grove family and was ordained into the gospel ministry in 2008. He now leads our worship ministry and creative arts, along with his wife Kristy and three young boys. Together they thank God for their past blessings and look forward to what He will do again in the future.

Lenae Bell
Lenae Bell has been a member at Pleasant Grove since 2011 and joined the staff as Director of Children’s Ministries in January of 2020. Graduating from Pensacola Christian College with a degree in Elementary Education, teaching in a Christian school for seven years, and being heavily involved in children’s ministry for many years has prepared her for the role in which God has placed her.
During children’s church, as a young girl, Lenae made the decision to give her life to Christ. She understands firsthand the role children’s ministry can have in a child’s life.
Her mission is to capture the hearts of children for the Lord and help them to desire and develop a personal relationship with Him. She firmly believes that it is the partnership with parents and families that helps children grow to their full potential.
Lenae is the wife of David Bell and the mother to five pretty awesome children, Emma, Carson, Lila, Clark, and Julia.

landon rafferty
Interim Youth leader
Landon Rafferty has called Pleasant Grove home for his whole life and made the decision to accept Christ at a revival in 2011. He graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture in May of 2023 with a Bachelor’s in Community & Leadership Development. After graduation, he joined the staff as Interim Youth Leader in June 2023.
Landon loves pushing students to step out of their comfort zone in an effort to help them achieve their full potential as followers of Christ and as young leaders.
Theresa Towery-MAYFIELD
Theresa Towery-Mayfield grew up in Panther, a rural community outside of Owensboro, Kentucky. She has 30 years Finance/Payroll experience from working for the Daviess County Public Schools where she retired in 2017. In September 2019 she joined Pleasant Grove Baptist Church’s Staff as the Financial and Office Manager.
Theresa and her husband Allen have five children: Brianna, Whitney, Kensie, Maddi and Corey. They are also blessed with fourteen grandbabies.

Vickie Lambert
Church Secretary
Vickie grew up in the Owensboro area before moving to Chicago to pursue a 34 year career as a Compliance Officer in the futures industry. In September 2019, God called Vickie and her husband, Daryle, back to their Owensboro roots to be near family.
Vickie began attending PGBC in 2020 and became a member in January 2021. She joined the PGBC staff in November 2021 where she brings her love for the Lord and a wealth of experience to serving the PGBC community.
