IMPACTING THIS EVER-CHANGING CULTURE
We aim to balance both the protection of our community and our calling to be a source of encouragement and hope in this very concerning time. Due to the heightened awareness in our community and new information from the local, state, and national levels, concerning COVID-19, we have been constantly deliberating on the right path forward. After prayerfully considering the potential impact to those in our congregation, especially those most vulnerable to health complications from this virus, we will be temporarily suspending all physical gatherings until further notice. We understand fully the weight of this decision and will resume our gatherings as soon as it is prudent.
We want to remind you that the church isn’t a building you walk into, it’s a family you belong to. We recognize that gathering together as the church is very important for spiritual growth. We further acknowledge that the church is the people of God, and He has given us unbelievable tools to still gather together in this time. Staying connected is our goal.
During this time we desire to reflect Jesus to this community. Love you neighbor. Humbly serve those you can. Pray for those facing hardships and those that lead us during this time. If we can help serve you in any way, whether it’s grocery pickup or sharing supplies, we want to be there for you! Please call the church office with any need, great or small. (270)771-4150.
Every person has a role to fill in the church. Connecting our people together is a priority for us. We want every person to be known. Our small groups and Sunday School classes are pivotal for this connection. Our teachers will be continually connecting with you through texts and phone calls. Take time to reach out to those in your small groups and those needing to get connected. If you aren’t involved with a Sunday School class and would like to be, we’d love to plug you in. Call us at (270)771-4150.
During low attendance times, financial giving always suffers. We do understand the financial toll that this time can have on each of our families. Please remember to tithe to the Lord through the church. Even though we won’t be meeting physically, we still have weekly budgets to meet and ministries to support. Our church ministry is not stopping. We are adapting and utilizing creative ways to reach more people. Be assured that we are being good stewards with what God gives us and are making responsible spending adjustments during this season.

We’re not gathering physically, but we can’t wait to gather with our church family online, as we worship together, pray together, and give generously as the family of God.
Our responsibility is your safety. Our goal is to stay connected. Our prayer is that our world heals. Our desire is to see revival during this time and a move of God. We know that God has a plan and purpose through all of this. We trust He causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purposes. Our nation has seemingly stopped in her tracks while we cope with this virus, but it’s comforting to know that this can’t stop our God.
